Scott Gardner

Partner

Scott has 30 years’ experience in the real estate and fund management industries across the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia. He has worked in financial institutions and property companies and prior to Evermill he was a Partner at AlphaReal where he raised c.£3bn for long lease real estate. Scott was a Director at Colliers International and the Head of Real Estate Fund Management at AUB.

Tom Benham

Partner

A Chartered Financial Analyst, Tom has 18 years’ experience, and he previously worked within the Secure Income Real Estate team at Macquarie Asset Management, investing on behalf of institutional clients across alternative and core real estate markets. Prior to that, Tom had a background as an investment consultant, advising institutional investors on their investment strategy, with a particular focus on portfolio construction and liability hedging.

Harry Millward

Partner

A Chartered Accountant, Harry previously worked within the Secure Income Real Estate team at Macquarie Asset Management, investing on behalf of institutional clients, with a focus on underwriting and origination. He has also held roles at AlphaReal and PwC’s Capital Markets team.

Jamie Ritblat

Founder and Chairman

Jamie founded Delancey in 1995. Over the last 25+ years, Jamie has grown Delancey into a leading UK-based real estate investment, development and asset management company, having overseen £20bn of transactions. Jamie has led Delancey to successfully raise and execute five UK real estate investment funds as well as significant segregated mandates for global institutional clients and large family offices. Jamie led the high-profile legacy of the London 2012 Olympic Games, with the acquisition and development of London’s neighbourhood ‘East Village’, the creation of Get Living (now the UK’s leading build-to-rent management company), and most recently oversaw the purchase of the Earl’s Court development, comprising 40 acres of prime redevelopment land in West London.

Paul Goswell

Non-Executive Deputy Chairman

Paul joined the business in July 1996, shortly after it was established, and along with Jamie Ritblat has played a leading role growing it from inception to the business it is today. As well as directly overseeing some of the group’s investment and development projects, Paul is closely involved in the formulation and implementation of all Delancey’s strategies and sits on the boards of several of its operating platforms including Plexal, an innovation consultancy, Here East, a digital and creative campus and NW1 Partners, an international thematic investment business.

Stafford Lancaster

Chief Executive Officer

Stafford, who joined in 2000, works on Delancey’s overall fund and asset level strategies. Historically focused on London offices, in more recent years he has led the residential (Get Living plc), education (Alpha Plus Group) and mixed used development (Earls Court Development Company) programmes. He is responsible for relationships with some major co-investment partners including APG, Oxford Properties, Aware Super and is Chairman of the Investment Property Forum (IPF) and a Trustee of the Reading Real Estate Foundation at Henley Business School.

Established in 1995, Delancey is a privately owned investment, asset, and development management real estate business. Since inception it has acquired, developed, managed and sold in excess of £20bn of real estate related investments across all sectors. It enables its clients, which include pension funds, endowments, sovereign wealth funds and family offices, to access opportunities in UK real estate via equity, debt, public markets, platform creation, and strategic partnerships.
